I struggle with abstract thinking so forgive me but is it fair, by a similar token, to ask if you’ve learned how to take responsibility for being part of the American Man collective? And how is that demonstrated?

I’m gonna get some hate for this but which version? The first one I heard was on Chicago 18, so the remix. It’s a bit more synthesized but 8yo me with my knockoff Walkman thought it slapped hard. I respect the OG track but the remix still holds a special place.

I like to think it ascended out of our realm because there was nothing left to achieve. Where could it go from there? What could it aspire to? Might as well head out.

I like using that analogy for security program development, complete with flaws. I read that it started as a high-level analogy to show how complex systems, in general, fail. Works for a variety of fields but feels particularly apt for Infosec. Pentesters (and attackers) live in the gaps/holes.
