Meaning it could've been anyone off the street, and they could hardly have been violating any sort of secrecy if they were based on still-unconfirmed leaks.

They lap up every last one of his excuses / sidesteps, and happily ignore the dogwhistles and coded language, and months-long misinfo campaign beforehand.

Projection seems to be their first, last, and only line of attack. The only trick in their book. They do it preemptively so they can turn around and accuse the dems of copying them when any accurate criticisms are made later. They do it retroactively to try to make themselves look better.

I like to think the bat was originally selected to be a "state bird", and then later when someone else realized that bats aren't birds, decided to merely change the category so as not to have to change the selection.
