Sketched a character I'm putting together for a game next month. Visually based, in part, on an absolutely terrifying piano professor at my U. She is STILL teaching there and now I wonder if she is a vampire?

Art date with friends today. We drew a tarot card for inspiration and got the 2 of swords, which fit nicely into this prompt - if I don't like the choices at my crossroads, maybe the solution is to consult a map to a place that doesn't exist. Yet. A destination unknown.

"Things I might draw poorly"
Hongdian M2 fountain pen with Diamine Forever ink in Skyline, and watercolors. Everything but the pen is an experiment in continuous line drawing, which I always think looks amazing but had not tried yet. Clearly there is a trick to this and I need to try again.

The path out of overthinking, or being so stuck in your path you try the same thing over and over again, might be through left field. It certainly can't hurt at this point.

#tarotember day 29 prompt: card that brings you joy. This is another cheat, a sketch from Tarotember 2022. I cobbled this together out of several family photos, where the smushing together into one chair is the common factor. Still makes me smile every time it appears 🙂
