It's crazy how people think in terms of team sports. I don't have a team, idiot. I'm pointing out that because the social structure remained authoritarian then nothing really changed: in-group/out-group dynamics didn't change at all and so the same cycle of violence repeated itself.

You don't need to scroll far to find apologia. Also, the DPRK isn't exactly a good example of learning from the mistakes of the past, but even if there were solid criticisms there, clearly no one has taken on board otherwise this discussion wouldn't be happening.

Again, I'm not anti-communist. I'm not pro-capitalist either. I'm just pointing out the harms authoritarianism causes, and that it isn't the only way to counter capitalism. Why are you more concerned with discussing me than the facts presented?

It is not at all the only system to bring benefits to large groups of people and you only consider it to be so good because you overlook all the harm it also did.
The idea that there is only one way forward is completely unfounded too. You're making a lot of assumptions about what I'm saying.

This isn't propaganda it's a documented historical fact. If your only counterargument is flat-out denial of realoty maybe consider that you're just simply wrong.

Right but a) I was a child and b) once I became an adult the relationship changed. An authoritarian system isn't comparable. It doesn't have time limits and isn't restricted to children. Also, a parent doesn't make decisions over economical or social matters.

MLism undermines the benefits of communism by tying them to a dedication to authoritarianism which brings about the same oppression communists are trying to avoid.
