Wow, you don't say?

Crazy how that works when you seek out a topic and consume the information on your own time and at your own pace as an adult. Who could have guessed?

No doubt there has to be a better way to do it. I at least applaud the efforts by SpaceX on that front if they can actually get the damn things to not blow up so frequently

Imagine what shape we'd be in if we didn't spend $2.4 trillion per year, globally, on militaries.

Space programs are not the enemy even if I do agree that we've saturated the night sky with shit from SpaceX and musk himself should be shot into the Sun.

Be specific, what work doesn't matter?

Since you mentioned DoGE, do you think it's wasteful to supply a billionaire with additional billions of taxpayer money? Let alone a conflict of interest as he's at the helm?

Would you suggest starting with the Pentagon with their 7 failed audits in a row?

The audacity to ask him a question about it in the locker room like it's a relevant question is insane, let alone to run a "story" on it.

It goes to show how much ESPN relies on that gambling advertising money that they're throwing a Barkley, of all people, under the bus.

A play by play commentator who describes the play only after it's finished is neither excellent nor better than most.

He's easily the worst PbP announcer and, teamed up with Aikman, we have the games they call on mute.

Meanwhile, Joe Buck uses all of three words to describe that entire play.

Buck on his own is the worst PbP announcer out there and, combined with Aikman, I usually just watch MNF games on mute. They're genuinely awful

You don't think it matters that someone not on a ballot is in charge?
December 22, 2024 at 9:24 PM
Aww man, lick autocorrected to like? Come on
December 20, 2024 at 2:28 AM
Why are you treating it like a dirty word?

Whether or not it's labeled entertainment or art makes no difference: you buy it, use it by completing the game, and move on. That's how most consumers (aka gamers) treat games or anything else.
December 15, 2024 at 7:10 PM
Going to have to agree with this. It's a half trillion dollar entertainment industry and you can't possibly expect the majority of people to treat it as anything else.

Many games are art while many others are, very simply, products to be consumed.

I think it's a worse indictment of character that we let it get to this point in the first place.

But violence is rapidly becoming the only answer people have left. Would I prefer nonviolent methods? Sure. Tell me what they are, then. Tell me how my vote matters more than lobbyist money, please.

I appreciate what you're saying or simply that you were willing to refine what you said.

???

Brian Thompson would be lauded in corporate and business circles for saving his company money despite contributing greatly to the ~50k Americans that die each year to denied claims.

But oh no, someone kills him, people cheer and *now* the country's gone to shit? Are you fucking serious?

You seem eager to mention vandals, thieves, pedophiles and women beaters but avoid just calling them cops for some reason.
December 11, 2024 at 4:35 AM
It's a slippery slope, I get it, but it's the inevitable outcome of a lack of accountability for the rich and powerful.

The longer it takes for corrective action to take place the more sudden, and bloody, the outcome will be.
December 8, 2024 at 7:52 AM
You place much more faith in the Senate than I'm comfortable with but only time will tell. Hopefully there's still some spine left in enough of them.
December 4, 2024 at 1:38 AM
On its own, I'd agree that it's just nonsense.

But, taking the rest of the appointments and actions they're promising to do, it seems incredibly reckless to be dismissive. What will you say or do when it becomes a reality?

It's more likely that they were random Palestinians. Even if they did pick up a weapon, what constitutes them being a "terrorist" for resisting terrorism itself given that they're facing genocide?

Have you wondered if you're biased and just anti-Muslim?
