I tried watching it in 2015-2016. Then I found out how bad Joss Whedon treated Charisma Carpenter and I was like: "Yeah, that is a no." Never looked back. However I do recall reading somewhere that Boreanaz was actually parking cars when he got scouted to play Angel.
