Anything but the car! I live in a car-infested suburb but hardly ever drive, and explain how I do that. The car is Plan G after WFH, walk, bike, bus, electric motor scooter, motorcycle.
CM meets the 2nd Friday of each month, 6pm, Friendship Park. Roll at 6:30. Year round!

Safely home by 22:05. Note to self: Bring the portable charger with me next time. Two of my five lights/cameras pooped out on me before the night was over. 4/

After biking out to Yinz Coffee in Bloomfield (see separate thread), then riding Critical Mass (the other separate thread), then riding back downtown, I’m ready for a bus ride headed home. 2/

While we are disassembling the health insurance industry, I remind everyone that a special section of hell is reserved for those who promote the concept of pharmacy benefit managers. Their primary purpose is to direct the flow of money to the rich and powerful. PBMs need to die, full stop.

From the 1980s to 2013, PRT ran big suburban coaches for some routes but not the 28X. The first buses used on the 28X from its 1996 inception until about 2007 were smaller, 22-seaters with a big luggage rack. Not ideal, not real comfortable, but got the job done. I wish they’d used the big coaches.

He can’t get out and walk around? He has to drive through a car lot repeatedly?

That happened several years ago when this bus ran out of Collier Division (now Ross). Not as well known as sinkhole bus or fallen bridge bus but famed nevertheless. 5/
