It's a new chapter. Both scary and exiting. I'm a software engineer but it's not my passion. Lately I've been writing but haven't shared anything.

Second set of photos from my old Kodak during my Chicago trip.

Finally the obligatory shot of deer. The battlefield always has deer and today was no exception.
A picture of two deer in the Chickamauga Battlefield. It's peak deer season in the park and there are an abundance of them. These two deer were playing together before I took the photo, after they crossed in front of me on the road. Taken on a Kodak Easyshare C643.

Here is a set of photos from the outside of the Wilder Monument. I was trying various ISO and lighting settings and these were the clearest ones with the best color.

This is another photo from the inside of the Wilder Monument. A shot of the outside is framed by the darkness of the inside of the monument. Visible outside is a railroad crossing and a smaller monument. The details are unusually crisp for the camera used. Taken on a Kodak Easyshare C643.

Took a trip to the Chickamauga Battlefield today to enjoy the nice weather and got some practice in taking photos with the old Kodak. About 12/60 photos are good but I learned more about how to get better photos out of it. These are some of my favorites from the batch. #photography #vintage #kodak

Been taking some photos on a vintage digital camera. (2003 Kodak EasyShare C643). I had a identical camera as a kid so taking photos with it has been very nostalgic. I'll try and share more of them over time here. I'd say 1 in 6 turn out okay like this one. #photography #vintage #kodak
Taken on a 2003 Kaoda EasyShare C643 is a digital photograph. The center details are a vase shaped like a snail with fake plants inside of it. To the right is a small glass jar with a pair of freshly picked petunias in a rich shade of purple. They sit on top of a wodden dresser framed by a college diploma and a CRT monitor in the background. Due to the age of the digital camera the photo is not very crisp and nothing is quite in focus besides the smiling face of the snail vase.

I bought an OG Wacom Intuos (the first USB model!) for my iMac G3 and this thing is crazy nice and usable for how old it is. Now I just need to figure out what I want to draw on it. #Macintosh #iMacG3
