And, they often express the idea that residents who rent shouldn’t have a voice because they’re not “real”residents. You hear this often in Alameda where over 1/2 the residents rent. Shameful.

The white replacement windows are a crime, as is all the painted woodwork on the second floor. Ruins the character of the house.

I learned a new one in Letterboxed recently: sagbag (essentially, a bean bag)

When Miles was 2 or 3 we met a kid at the park named Tiberius. And then there was the kid at Franklin Elementary named Illinois.

I saw Yo La Tengo at the Bottom of the Hill in SF in 1993. They were the free music at the Sunday All You Can Eat BBQ for $5.

Saw Kurt Wagner (Lambchop) at an art gallery in SF in 2018 with about 50 other people. Got to talk with him after the show.
