I don't think it's fair to compare the two yet since the DLC for Silksong isn't out yet but I just hope we get Pantheon of the Gods back (I want to replay the bosses), more hard bosses, and a really difficult platforming section like path of pain (cogwork was nice but doesn't compare)

on top of watching top JP players' VOD's as well as our own. It's quite disingenuous to suggest that there's a solution us as the western scene can come to when the problem is clearly systemic. Sure, mixing player bases and playing more minor tourneys could improve the western scene but we will

I've read a lot of suggestions today about "actually trying to improve" etc. etc. Knowing how the top western teams function behind the scenes (us, PxG, SB) we DO want to win and we do play to improve. All of us dedicate a lot of time to playing both as a team and as individuals,

Minor regions and smaller player bases can only push each other so far. The Melee top players in Japan and Australia are obviously great, but there is a clear gap compared with top talent from NA.

I really enjoy competing, especially with FTWin, so I hope my schedule going forward still lets me dedicate some time to it. After my summer and fall semesters last year I didn’t think I’d ever be able to compete again so it’s been really nice to be back again.

That’s why it felt nice to be able to perform this tournament on a “new” role (at least as of recently) even if it wasn’t enough to win. Yesterday was probably the best I’ve ever performed individually in tournament which was nice for a change since it usually feels like I’m being carried.

Yeah it’s kinda similar but edit is way easier to use since the bullet velocity is less awkward
