Dr. Gholdy Muhammad's Unearthing Joy has been exactly what my students and I needed! They were demanding (literally!) more support in making their learning more diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible. I listened, got the training, and because of Dr. Muhammad's work, we had a stellar year!

❤️I'm teaching it this year to my ELA class after exploring history of protest music and redlining w/ The Hate U Give. (I teach with culturally & historically responsive educational practices.) Many of our migrant families relate to Persepolis, but this time around we'll have more to pick apart. 😓
