Just to clarify, the Faerie King would be the patron of the hypothetical Crusader class. If you wanna be a Crusader, you're workin' for the Faerie King.

So, kind'a like the current Warlock sub-class, except you're opting in, rather than getting it accidentally.

Considering a Heavy Armour “charisma knight” class for V&V 2.0, working title: Crusader. Sort of a “Lady of The Lake” parody.

Problem is the Faerie King already sort’a fills that niche, narratively and as a Warlock class.

What do you guys think? Make her a class or keep her as a Warlock patron?

In any sufficiently large body of water, there is The Lady, offering boons and blades to those that would hunt the fae in her name. Her Fae Knights grow more dashing, gallant, and chivalric, though the Paladin Order is extremely suspicious of this pond-tart’s motives.

Taking a new approach to enemies in V&V 2.0, by writing little side adventures you can run with them, instead of having a big Monster Manual that you then need to prep encounters for.

Anyway, very fond of the Pie Piper. Layers of juvenile euphemisms.

That girl in the bottom left's quite cute, too.

For V&V 2.0, Paladins have Oath Breaking states, rather than vague roleplaying suggestions. Some of these Oath's are pretty hardcore though, so it's recommended to only take one or two at a time.

I quite like the image of a Paladin marching into a brothel with a whiteboard and homework sheets.

Sneak peek at the Wizards spells. Removed Grimoires for being ill-thought out and boring, and the whole "Learning spells by having experiments performed on you" has moved from Downtime to the new Adventures chapter, because that's fun enough to be done at the table.

Also need to draw a Candle Kid.

A lot of Mundain’s philanthropic efforts are led by old adventurers.

Didni “Nana” Niknufn’s thieving days are long behind her, but she raises an honest, hard-working orphan.

Lore titbit: Centaurs are the reason there are no mammals in Mundain other than Humans and Half-Humans. Bugs, Slugs, and Lizards are used for food, clothing and transport.

This is why Elves and Dwarfs consider the Human habit of breast-feeding really weird. But concede their baking is better.

Faeries reproduce by collecting the hair, teeth, fingernails, snot & blood from Kin. With enough from the same person, a faerie is moulded, looking and acting suspiciously like their donor.

Tooth Faeries look more moth-like than others, possibly to blend in at night with those at the window.

The only known instance of a Warlock dominating and controlling their Fae Patron, The Beauty’s cruelty, decadence and ambition far outshine’s The Beast’s.

If the fight’s not going well, you can nominate an adventurer to stay behind and “Be Their Guest”, and they’ll let the rest leave.

12, Druid, Fae Knight and Ranger are new to 2.0.

Multi-classing's been expanded a bit though, so there's lots of options for longer campaigns.

The closest Dwarven word for naked is “Bair’bm”, which means “unarmoured”.

The closest Elvish word for naked is “Weirsyaun’diis” which means “I am appreciating what I am seeing”.
