The BBC will probably do its best to rehabilitate Farage's standing in the next couple of days by giving him yet another platform from which to advertise his (odious) political messages.

I'm guessing Infantino gets a free 'Get out of Jail' card, in exchange. It's a board game of Monopoly that is being played. Trump will be told he's won a beauty contest, soon enough!

I'm sure there are some basic Scouts awards that come in above the FIFA peace prize. Probably, even the WC participation awards come above this trinket.

I think MTG's recent break from cover (however genuine her motives) demonstrates what Republicans can do when they no longer fear punitive sanctions by Trump at their respective subsequent elections. At the moment, I imagine that it's fear and loathing that governs their behaviors.

Is this Trump finally breaking cover as Putin's stooge?
December 7, 2025 at 10:11 AM
Agreed, I smell BS

Now they all get to ply their trade for an oranganisation that runs on misinformation and cannot be sued.

Rather an actor telling me the news than a group of newscasters of proven disrepute placed in positions to direct the actions of America.

Indeed, HVDC power transmission has about 1/3 the loss of HVAC - but then requires an expensive inverter stage at the destination grid. I think there is a plan for a North Africa to Europe HVDC transmission line for renewable energy, but the ideal is to link up different time zones as well.

She's the straight man, in a one man comedy show, but of course she doesn't know it.

A war against a non existent opponent seems like a winnable war. What a masterstroke by Trump! /s

This is a Private Eye cartoon. It would be a complete fail if it wasn't intended to be humorous, in this case a satirical parody. The inference in the cartoon being that shops are more of an endangered species than vinyl.

The good news is that the problem doesn't appear to be genetic.

The board had 2 options: 1) sack/accept Musk's resignation now and burst the chain letter bubble now and *all* also get fired for incompetence, or 2) play along with the hype of stock valuation for as long as the ride lasts and get remunerated in the meantime.

Put it this way; there's more evidence that he acts in his own interests before America's.

He's already head of the party of exclusion so any calls for his resignation would imply a lack of understanding of Reform.

Quite scary for America to be sleepwalking into Putin's trap. Quite brilliant of Putin, playing such a long game. It makes The Americans seem like child's play.

Hmm..what would Boeing senior management do? Probably order in some sand to stick their heads into.

Perhaps this is prospectively a first constructive use for AI; restoring the words behind the reams of redacted references to Trump.

The idea of long distance HVDC cables is potentially an alternative to night time batteries to store energy from renewables.

TRUMP 2.0: More money for me! More pardons for those who buy my bit coin. More foreign deals for states that bring me presents or let me build golf courses and hotels.

Lots of pale skinned folk spend time and money achieving 'perfection' of being a browner color. Some billionaires aim for a less natural orange color...possibly to blend in with their golden bling surroundings.

They are thinking, "Do even rich people in America not go to school!?" Being *very* generous he's adapted his message to match the comprehension of his voter demographic.
