I say this as someone who unlike the person from whichever video is pro equality and pro autonomy.

The fuck do you think any bear on the planet is capable of? Not even the vagueness of being with one or the other in the woods, but to explicitly "take on"???? In a fight presumably?

....even assuming it was filmed close to broadcast which it clearly isn't, it's obviously filmed over about a week, not five... (also, Picture Slam first aired in 2023)

Yeah, Russell T Davies was so keen to have an iron grip on Doctor Who that he...left the franchise for the vast majority of the 2010s. I know some of that was due to his husband's illness, but he still continued with entire miniseries unconnected to Doctor Who from 2015 onwards.

Epstein files and the less than 1% men who are wealthy and influential has jack and shit to do with "would you pick an unknown man or an unknown bear if you were alone lost in the woods". The Epsteins and Andrews of the world aren't even representative of the median sex offender or domestic abuser.

I understand in video games some voice actors are also motion capture scans but even then this shallowness and thirst gives me a massive ick. Also aren't convention panels more about actors (and especially voice actors) needing the money than you not keeping it in your pants?

Oh boy, a Mario Galaxy Movie Direct coming up.

And just like that "women don't look that way, or that way, to impress men, they do it for themselves" vanishes into the ether when it comes to criticisms of prominent (and very much not good) women on the right.

God I wish people didn't talk or think about BBC Sherlock.

Not because it was bad (iirc it wasn't, especially not series 1-2), but because of the tired Steven Moffat smearing and nonsensical arguments about John and Sherlock being "queerbaiting".

Quoting one of the "RTD/Moffat/whichever must go" fans in a supposedly serious trade publication is cringe as fuck. Not gonna lie.

Especially as the deal should've been about new potential audiences, not appeasing people who might have thought the first go around for RTD and Billie Piper were shit.

I already know the answer to "imagine if a person with 12,000 followers said this about a woman's tits in a movie" because there's a fucking lawsuit going on about another horror movie's nudity involving a woman actor.

I would believe that more if they didn't start turning on PEACEMAKER of all things. Some of them are also allergic to multiversal storytelling even contained to one movie or season.
October 29, 2025 at 12:02 PM
Fuck you. What level of "legitimate criticism" is calling writers of It's a Sin, and in earlier eras Life on Mars and Being Human, Britain's worst writers?
October 29, 2025 at 10:55 AM
The exact reverse happened when Diane Keaton and Robert Redford died weeks apart lmfao, are you fucking kidding me?
October 29, 2025 at 8:18 AM
Whether or not you like The Reality War or any of Gatwa era Doctor Who, Russell T Davies is absolutely a competent professional. Go away.

It's so fucking weird to put modern Predator in the same category as Terminator or Tron when Prey and Killer of Killers were easily avoidable direct-to-streaming AND really good.
October 28, 2025 at 9:58 AM
This is so fucking stupid. As in, it's not credible. Gone Home was not a breaking point that primed a third of the US to support the Republican Party. Neither was Anita Sarkeesian.

And once again, *Washington Post* profiled at least one Gamergate victim. And this was after Bezos bought it in 2013.

Unless we're talking about like 30 or 40 years ago, I'm unconvinced this type of $20 game even exists & probably wilfully erases contract work, like the people undercounting the ones who worked on Clair Obscur.

10 years ago I heard The Witcher preposterously described similarly. Even The Witcher 3.

JESSE NO!

DON'T DO THE DEBUNKED TALKING POINT!

WALT REFUSED A HANDOUT FROM HIS RICH FORMER COLLEAGUES IN EPISODE FIVE!

JESSE!

Oh look, another wilful misinterpretation of the Sonic "shorter games" image.
October 26, 2025 at 7:01 AM
Not to be anti preservation (I'm not), but weren't we just celebrating a Frankenstein remake lol
October 25, 2025 at 8:39 AM
This is not a production regime or lead writer that hates or dismisses the 2018-2022 era of Doctor Who.
October 19, 2025 at 10:57 PM
Dumb narrative that's never gonna die.

The existence of an indirect Three Doctors/Arc of Infinity sequel or a Midnight sequel alongside 20ish other episodes this era does not mean the era as a whole was nothing but stale self-reference. Wholly reject that. Not even worth arguing.
October 19, 2025 at 5:55 PM
You do see how fucking insane you look claiming this right? Right? This is obvious telephone-game bullshit, and he never fucked off from the industry either? He's had shows with HBO and Netflix and a stage play.
October 19, 2025 at 2:54 AM
Jane Tranter the former BBC drama commissioner has much much much much more to do with getting Doctor Who back on TV than the writer of the (very good) sixth episode.

Also series 2 got commissioned before Dalek even aired.
