Humidifier in your bedroom at night if you don't have one already. Give them a chance to recover while you sleep.

scams isn't useful. There are a bunch of ways to recognize scams - why not teach people how?

Complete with the right username, sent to the right email, which isn't publicly available information?

Respectfully, you made a mistake. Most emails that look exactly like that one aren't scams; they're legitimate emails from AO3. Scaring people into thinking all emails that look like that one are

I recommend deleting your post or posting an update to try to counteract the incorrect information in your original post. It's very important to be aware of scams. This isn't one.

From @lavenderandrue.bsky.social, it's a known AO3 bug. www.reddit.com/r/AO3/commen...

Always check where the emails are coming from! But at this point, an email with a reset password link coming from do-not-reply@archiveofourown.org seems to be legit. Just delete them.

That's the actual email that AO3 sends out. I just checked. The content could obviously easily be copied and sent from a fake email in an attempt to steal your password. But if you request a password reset and get that email from do-not-reply@archiveofourown.org, that's the actual email from AO3.

My problem is it's my sinuses that get dry, and you can't fix that with a water bottle (although I've been tempted).

My sympathies.

Ugh, that sucks. My additional suggestion would be to add 2 humidifiers to your bedroom. That's what I do in the winter to keep the humidity livable at night. *waves from Alberta, which is also irritatingly dry*

Have you considered having a humidifier running in the bedroom while you sleep? Then the CPAP air wouldn't be directly humidified, but the air the CPAP is pulling in would be less dry than NM air.

I got an air fryer and have cooked chicken, potatoes, and green onion cakes in it. I love it. So easy for someone who doesn't like cooking.
