I guess just once, I wanted to be... not different, by some standard. My therapist says I should accept being the way I am, personality disorder and all, and that people will love me for me--I know Hot Rod does." Optimus interrupts, "he does, very much. We all do." She continues, "it's just... hard to love yourself when even modern medicine thinks you're a freak." Hot Rod's hand, which is the size of her body, drawn in orange, scoops Sapphire up. He says "Incoming scoop!" as she lets out a surprised "Woah!"

Their relationship continued even after Hot Rod became Rodimus Prime, though it became noticeably more private after he inherited the matrix. She worries for his mental health with the burden of leadership; a concern she voices often.

I was on Reddit and I saw a post where someone asked "was the pandemic really that bad?" And explained they were 9 when it happened and they barely remember it.
