Sometimes it’s really small things that make me happy. Last week I bought a box of Fruit Loops for the first time in a very long time. The first sniff after opening immediately transported me back to simpler, happier times.

The recipe I use mixes some butternut squash into the yukon gold mashed potatoes. Top it with parmigiana…mmmm
