... Posts like this are aimed at 3rd party voters, when the animosity should be directed elsewhere. There are people actively voting for the "evil red" side, that you are giving a free pass to. You aren't going after them. This is often, in my experience, due to an entitlement to leftist votes.

They see MAGA as a lost cause, just animals adhering to their nature. And they can't be blamed for it either, so they have to look to someone else to blame. I have had people tell me that I don't get to vote for who I want, that it's their candidate or nothing.

I nearly didn't vote. I'm trans, and my ID still has an M on it, and I'm in a red state. Every situation that requires my ID is an anxiety attack waiting to happen, because I am not safe.
If not for being in a group, I would not have gone in 24, I could not justify the risk.

I live in a red state. I am trans. My state needed me to show ID, I was afraid to do so, because my ID still has an M on sex. I did not feel safe. I voted, but only because I wasn't alone at the time.

So..."vote, but vote the way I tell you to vote"? I just want to understand. It feels like your hatred is mostly towards Trump voters, and it seems like that's a better use of your resources, over attacking votes you weren't entitled to, or lack thereof.

For sure vote, but if you're plan to fix things is one single action in 9 months, you are grossly underselling your duty.
Now is the time to start building and fostering community. Plan for the best, but prepare for the worst. It would be hypocritical to put all your eggs in the vote basket.

It sucks that it has to happen. I'm trans and that means my entire existence is political for some fkin reason. Would love to just be able to post about my journey without having to defend my right to exist.

Will they? That would require those in Congress take an actual action against Trump, and that could mean change, and if there's one thing Dems hate more then fascism, is shaking up the status quo.
