I have loved ones in Iran. They're going about their lives as they watch missiles fly overhead. My best friend sent me pictures the other day of her washing cherries with her parents to make jam while she told me about the sound of explosions somewhere nearby. We're only human

All the time. I used to work grocery delivery, and let me tell you, trying to read all the little barcode labels when your brain is doing that is a nightmare 😭

I wish 😞 I'm a caregiver for my grandma and my niece and both are picky eaters

That's possible, but I also wouldn't know how to use them or in what ratio. I need to make food that I know isn't going to go in the trash, so I don't have a lot of room to experiment. My cooking skills only go so far

It might math out to a savings when you buy in bulk, but most people don't have that kind of budget. They would have to skip buying necessities for the week to save money in the long run. After buying necessities, my family has about $30 a week for everything else, we're getting packets

There was a conspiracy that the government was building "15 minute cities" with the idea being that we would all be drawn to them and then check points would be set up to trap inside like Hunger Games districts or something. Not sure who that benefits, though.

Take care of yourself! Everyone I know currently has a mystery illness because we're all too sick to go get tested for anything

I do think there's a lot of guilt involved as well as the idea that we have to do better than our parents did and make up for their mistakes. It seems a lot of people decided the best way to do that is to do everything on their own.

It's more the case of "it takes a village." Having your children 100% of the time is a fairly new norm. Raising kids has historically been a group activity, but there seems to be a growing desire from parents to be fully independent instead of dropping the kids at grandma's on the weekends.

I've never met another Burgundy, so it just gets me every time I see her 😅 I love that, though

The little panic I have every time I see my name, though 😅
