I’m rewatching Fire Force and am reminded, once again, how goated this man Charon is 😮‍💨👌🏾 They really wanted us to know Shinra’s Grace was gone and we were dealing with a beast.
Plummeting from a high altitude, Charon slams Shinra horizontally through the brick wall of an evacuated apartment complex. Holding onto his fireman’s jacket, Charon uses Shinra’s upside-down body as a shield, the momentum from their fall launching them through four or five units. Shinra curses, realizing he needs to change the situation. Stamping his foot into Charon’s chest, Shinra uses their momentum and the leverage of Charon’s grip forces them to spin vertically. The two switch places and Shinra lands safely in one of the apartments, but now Charon is sent pinwheeling through several walls. He burst out the other side of the complex and planted his feet on a rooftop next door, killing the velocity. He casts a thrilled grin over his shoulder as he and Shinra prepare to engage each other once more.
