Seeing his name in the credits of the second half of this week's PS&G was so good, especially since you can immediately recognize when he had his hand in a scene just by how iconic his field of vision and shading are

the craziest part to me tho is how polar opposite his style is compared to his-

I'd rather be forced to look at the worst kind of gur0 or sc4t art than anything AI generated, at least I know someone put actual hours and will into the former instead of just mashing prompts til something "close enough" popped out on their output screen

How could I work or study by generating every mail or thesis from an AI without feeling like a total clown or faker? What would my studies or position in a job even amount to if my actual spark, uniqueness or partecipation in everything I put out is barely marginal? I don't get it

I'm sadly not an artist but I'd rather delete all social media than ever use those garbage sites EVEN IF THEY ETHICALLY SOURCED THEIR CONTENT because why should I waste so much energy in a world where people die from lack of basic needs to generate what I can just imagine with my brain?

I'm a huge fan of deforming experimental animation (especially Yuasa or Matsumoto-style animations) and this does smell VERY FISHY as a choice but I really hope to be proven completely wrong

I get it, I just think there's a difference between very wobbly or smear-y animation and straight up drawing a hand that weirdly and casually also forgetting a very out of place sixth finger, but as I said I'll hold my judgement until further footage comes around

Considering the staff behind the production it seems very weird to me they'd willingly accept to use AI like this because of how high the talent of the team is... But at the same time the extremely small production sample and dimension of the studio worries me that they could afford it because of AI

People accused Ohira of using AI, so it wouldn't surprise me

Regarding SEKIRO, it's very, very iffy.

Frames like this seem very much a generative mistake over an artistic decision or a mistake that somehow bypassed correction phase... But I'm waiting for more footage for now

It's really sad to me that this is the first steps the SEKIRO ANIME, which should've been a very hype and potentially very experimental production had to start with.

Hopefully it gets confirmed that the few suspicious frames are just a style decision over anything else.

I'm skeptic on the use of AI in the sekiro trailer but I also gotta admit this looks a lot more like an AI mistake than a frame specific error that passed correction somehow to me.
I'm waiting for more footage to go full sad mode because the staff on this production is full of cool people but...

I personally really like when they feature less "known" characters and increase depth of champions, so this event focused on Alder was really cool for me, as it gave him some very cool moments that I feel like BW kinda missed out on back in 2010-12

They also have some events that crown as Neo Champions main protagonists/rivals for their achievements (both from mainline and Masters events) as excuse to give them new outfits and units, and the stories are usually pretty cool, the last time it was for SM protags

One of the highest props I can give to this is also how it actually gives a unique shade to each main protagonist of every region, like how Selene is a spawn from nobody knows where but she's a total airhead so everyone just goes along with it or how Gloria turns any dish in curry, and so on

Yeah, I really really like how Masters tries its best to make the cast of 9 generations interact with each others seamlessly.

They have some pretty cringey arcs too, but they're a minority imo. Silver got like 4-5 very good and interesting events delving in his character that really made him shine

Marven also has a decent bit of interactions with Silver for obvious reasons that I can't find aside the one at 4:38, and they're very cute

(tbh what Masters did to Silver as a character is also incredible, I used to hate this guy)
