Please, make your UI cards fully clickable if it's one thing (product, article, and whatnot). users expect it and it just feels right.

But multiple buttons/actions on one card? Nah, that's chaos. nobody wants to accidentally click or tap the wrong thing.

A few well-chosen words describing the image's content and purpose are usually enough. In some cases where more context is needed, limit yourself to two sentences maximum. 2. Don't write "image of" or "picture of" because screen readers already know that it's an image and inform the user accordingly.
