I agree with pretty much everything you said BUT I really didn't think the action was all that great. It felt kinda held back by the fact that all the actors had to use their non-dominant hands for all the combat. Still an amazing show regardless, those last few eps had me in TEARS

I also kinda just hate the whole meta narrative direction the comic goes into in general. it goes from being a fantastic sci fi time travel story into a story about internet webcomics, which would be fine if it didn't feel so HOSTILE to the people who actually gave a shit about it

act 6 has its moments but overall I don't think it ever lives up to the two acts that came before it. all the good things about it are undercut by the fact that the story you're reading just isn't as fun once all the interesting shit has already been done
