After years of absolutely no motivation in regards of drawing I have finally picked up the pencil again. I also tried some very simple shading for the first time, which eh, it exists. Anyways, Once I'll have the complete drawing ready, I'll put out some follow up posts about what this is. :3

Some time ago, I modified a chicom Type 81 chest rig for a friend and since I wanted to reuse as much of the textile as I can, I took apart the pouch I removed and found that the truck tarpaulin that is used at the mouth of each pouch isn’t blank but has Chinese Type-19 camo on the inside.

Yesterday evening I had the luck to capture a conversation on the UVB-76 aka the russian buzzer. Unfortunately not the entire conversation and my russian aint good enough to tell what they say.

Finalyyyyy I got an actual HF rig! Now I am just waiting for an adapter from PL259 to SMA So I can actually hook up my antenna and hear more then just the RFI of the PSU that powers it lol

The tint foil job is kinda meh but it works as a temporary solution until I can get my hands on a tinted visor. Also look at the first line of lights :D

THE LEDS FOR THE VISOR ARRIVED! Now it’s on to make them into something that actually looks like a drone visor!

I kinda had the idea of building a UAV. Fuselage will be a Carbon fiber tube (probably, this is a „I make decisions on the fly“ kinda project) So I started of with making a gimbal for an IR Camera. This will sit in a clear dome at the front of the vehicle.

I kinda want to start posting more stuff. Especially stupid thoughts. With the goal of having a time line of my descent into madness.
Also I find the idea funny of some stranger stumbling and consecutively thinking about my idiocy lol.

Welp, the flexible OLED idea was neat while it lasted. But spending 300€+ on the display alone and then having a driver board dangling of to the side is kinda shit.

Sooo, I was recently able to add this MSA Millennium to my collection and I realized that the visor looks like the drone visors from Murder drones. So my current plan is to find or make a tinted one and get some sort of display in between it and the PU lens that hopefully even is see through!
