Walsall lad, living in Leeds for longer than I did in the Midlands. Still don't take part in the 'Yorkshire' chants at Elland Rd though!
As I say, not a complex chain of events to foresee.

Extraordinary poor judgement from Starmer to put her in that role. He knew Bangladesh was corrupt and he knew she was the PM’s niece so it wasn’t a complex dot to dot to see that there could be trouble ahead. He seems incapable of anticipating anything

Who could have predicted that Musk is basically a good old fashioned fascist. He’s becoming more and more like a Bond villain every day.

Seem to remember this being true last season as well. I wonder what the common thread is.

Martin. I hadn’t heard from Santander and so went back to your website which now says that they have said that they did not engage in DCR.
However their Q3 accounts have a provision of £295m for it and you can fill out a claim directly on their website. Might be worth a review

Frank Skinner was talking about this on his pod as he’d gone to their houses managed by the National Trust. McCartney lived in the family council house after they’d broken through until 1964

Surely @maitlis.bsky.social is not that surprised that the Alt right are targeting young males for votes.
The liberals have been championing DEI for decades and so it’s not a difficult line for the right to push the opposite narrative and radicalise young men. It’s the football fan mentality 🤷‍♂️

It was all going swimmingly until the banking crisis and then Brexit.

You do realise that both sides can be at fault? Whataboutery doesn’t help anyone. And government waste is a big issue to taxpayers

Today was Parliament at its best and such a relief after the chaos of the last government. Respect on both sides and grown ups accepting what a difficult subject this is rather than just jumping to populist easy solutions. Some surprising votes though and I wonder how many were religiously motivated

Exactly this. Snobbery and misogyny. She’s a bit sharper than John though. Her put down of 50p Lee at PMQs yesterday even made him laugh

Some of her supporters comments on Twitter are hilarious. The lack of self awareness off the charts. They really don’t like free speech when someone says something they disagree with. Then it’s Marxist claptrap. And someone even complains that Global don’t pay their fair share of tax with no irony

Thanks. Joined this morning and it’s like having a detox. Already feel cleaner without all the flag shaggers on here.
