This jackass has no idea how much food costs. We’re a house hold of two and spend more than that on groceries. Imagine a family of four or more limited to that AND expected to have a month’s worth saved.

My daughter always wants input but she (1) has a complex situation with multiple illnesses and tends to get rare complications and (2) has a biology degree and is in grad school for bioinformatics.

This was my thought - they were in such a rush to do something illegal they didn’t bother to think that architectural salvage could be done AND parts reused or sold.
