Recently been reading “The Art of Doing Science and Engineering: Learning to Learn” by Richard Hamming. Probably one of the most influential books I’ve read, and a fantastic peak into Hamming’s mind. Plus, on a fun note, he accurately predicted in the 1994 book that AI would come about in the 2020s.

Thank you Nob. My grandmother died in my mother’s arms like how Takako died in yours, and we cared for a family member that almost joined her, then went to a home. You don’t really process these things, you just learn to live with the loneliness. Some moments just drown you, but we did our best.
