After becoming disabled by Long-COVID, I had to move back in with family and was only able to secure part-time employment. I’m happy to say that after over a year of job-hunting, I have finally obtained a remote second job! However I found out that while supporting me, my family fell behind on rent and have been in a payment plan with the landlord, which means we could lose our legal right to 60 days notice to vacate. Even with the increased income from my new job, it would take months to pay off the $5700 we owe and save enough to move. We have been facing harassment from the landlord’s realtors to vacate for showings despite explaining that we each work from home. I am asking for help to close the gap on arrears by the end of February, so that we can remain in our home while we figure out our next steps. We need to raise $5700 in 3 weeks.
