I used Trello with a description of what was going to happen on each page just so I didn't get lost in the sauce halfway through. I've heard people can get overwhelmed by being too ambitious with their comic, so I suppose keep that in mind :3 starting with something small might be a good entry point

I've done a 12-page comic that I've not posted publicly, so I can only speak for mini-comics, but they're fun to do if you have an idea in mind.
My process was to roughly storyboard all pages -> add text -> clean up roughs for each panel to account for text -> usual draw process one page at a time.
