i am so grateful for the community i have found and helped build, but being thrown into or observing the general public instills a fear in me that is deep in my core.

i'm so sorry you feel similarly too. it's so difficult to sit with these feelings especially when we sometimes don't have many places for them to go, and the grief that comes along with it all. i hope you find some community that relates to your experiences and helps you feel safer 💕

it's unfortunate that a cure for burnout is to engage in a special interest, yet severe burnout makes me completely indifferent!!!

i have lots of hobbies, sure, but there's no better feeling than being completely obsessed and spending hours learning about something with no desire to do anything else. 😫

i also simply do not know how to bring up to people i care about that i'm disappointed in them stopping masking in public when they're scientifically literate, social justice literate, able to mask (whether due to safety, financial, disability etc), AND view themselves as a good person
