Second book of the year. I am exhausted by this book. The writing is wonderful and I enjoyed the different perspectives but the characters (the men) are mostly awful and downright disgusting. I was relieved to finish it and escape from how awful it made me feel. 3.25 ⭐

First book is Chlorine by Jade Song. A girl obsessed with competitive swimming and mermaids becomes one herself. The writing is so-so with some pr bad moments but the curiosity kept me going. I'm torn on how I feel about it. Overall I think it portrays the horrors of growing up decently. A solid 3.
