I hope you have a good time if you go! idk if you've been to Leavenworth before but it's a quintessential funky WA tourist experience and the area is really pretty in fall and winter, lots of good hiking too

if you can make it over the pass, they recently built one in Leavenworth. I hate coasters so I will not be trying it (and I've heard the locals are not fond of it being built there either)

thank goodness you didn't have to wait that long! when I was growing up in unincorporated Kirkland it was more common to have multi-day power outages. one time it even lasted a week. the area was much less developed back then tho

bebe spent the day perched on the edge of the nest enjoying the weather

well not big. still a tiny hummingbird baby. but she's fluffy and good at preening and flapping her wings. big tiny baby

there's a big baby in the nest and I think she's getting ready to fledge soon!!

what am I supposed to do, go to bed??? like a normal person????
