FIND YOUR MUTUALS ON OTHER PLATFORMS

The data you downloaded from TT includes your following list. Consult this or your in-app following list to search for your friends on other platforms. TT was great be the people on it were great, so stay in touch!

RECONNECT WITH BRANDS

A text I received from the brilliant @producerliz.bsky.social: Send emails to brands who have sent you PR or paid work and tell them that you're still posting on other platforms, with links to those platforms, and you would love to continue working with them.

SCREENSHOT IMPORTANT ANALYTICS

Analytics data is PROOF that you're good at what you do! Save it for future resumes and media kits bc your content means nothing to brands w/o it. Send these screenshots to your computer via a cloud service and store them with your other TT data.

6. Double check that all your videos saved properly, and back them up to a second storage location with your previously downloaded data for safekeeping.

NOTE: From what I can tell, this method does not download Friends Only videos, so be sure to save these manually.

3. Open TT in Chrome with the myfaveTT extension and select "Download from people I follow." Make sure your main account is selected.
4. When prompted, make a new folder to save your videos in.
5. Watch myfaveTT do its thing. For my
400+ videos, it finished in about an hour.

DOWNLOAD YOUR VIDEOS AS .MP4s

1. Open Google Chrome on your desktop and add the myfaveTT extension.
2. Go to TikTok and log in via a second account, not the one whose videos you want to download. Follow your main account with this secondary account.

5. Click "Request data." TT asks for your password here.
6. In the "Download data" tab, wait ~1hr for your request to process until the
"Download" button appears.
7. Click "Download." A .zip file will save to your computer's downloads folder. This contains all your data.

DOWNLOAD YOUR DATA (incl. follower/ following lists, DMs, + more):

1. Have your login info handy, incl. your password.
2. Log into TT on a desktop web browser.
3. Under your pfp, click "Settings."
4. Under "Data," click "Download your data."
