It’s bluer than it’s ever been here. I’m not voting for her again. I’ll do whatever it takes for her to get primaried. That’s the general consensus among Dems and party volunteers here. She had some brutal town halls this past year. She’s not liked by her party.

I think this is our best shot to primary Perez. I moved down to this district nearly 25 years and it’s never been more blue from the influx of Bay Area and native Portlanders moving here. I called her today and vowed not to vote for her off she voted yes. I’m done. I’m sick of her shit.

But they’re not pivoting to the center. Social norms have changed since 2016. They’re pivoting to the right, which makes anything REASONABLE look like free unadulterated handouts to these people. This was why November 8, 2016 was so devastating. We knew that this would happen.

Behind this is the Family Policy Institute of WA who are a far-right Christian Nationalist organization that want religion in our schools. I still got one in public school. Over my dead body.
