Went to the pharmacy this afternoon and as I was waiting to pull into the parking lot a cyber truck pulled out to exit. Before I realized it, I burst out in hysterical laughter and kept laughing as we passed each other. Mine and his windows were wide open and he slid a little lower in his seat.

How are we going to protect our public lands, parks, and forests? How are we going to stop them from being raped and left bare? How do we stop the madness? Block access ala Ruby Ridge? Fill them up with campers and visitors 24/7? Chain ourselves to trees?

With the bird flu rampant requiring extermination of major egg producing flocks, I propose ending the use of "the price of eggs" as a barometer of prices.

Sent in my online passport renewal 2/3. Received my new one today, the 8th. They say expect 4-6 weeks. But 5 days?!Needless to say, I'm shocked. If yours is inspiring soon, I'd advise getting your renewal in before the Doge dudes get their hands on it.

Stumbled upon reruns of Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In, and it really highlights how little progress we've made since 1968. Each and every issue applies today. I loved that show, and it lit an awareness of how many wrongs there were and still are.

Today's my birthday (12/29)! But I'm 66??? Doesn't seem possible. Regardless, my present to myself was finally signing up for medical marijuana. Kicking myself for not doing so years ago.

I just wanted to say it's 9:40 am on Thursday, December 12, and it's currently -6 F. High today 4° F. YaY! I love Minnesota. But I'll take it over the weather that the South and Southeast has been having recently. Well, actually, all of the Southwest in California too! I feel so badly for them.
