I agree. Two WhatsApp's can call each other. I do that with others. But in our case the near family is not even on the web. And no smart phones. We use the Skype-in facility. They call a local land line number and are put through to our Skype.
I'd love a solution but WhatsApp may not be it...

We're using Skype in and Skype out across continents for family members without smartphones. I do not suppose Teams will have a similar facility. So this is a real problem for us.
