I hate handsewing but love a clean polished look, so although the pattern says to edge stitch the neck binding, here I am sewing it down by hand (yes, my machine colour is a choice) #SewingSky

Because @hazelsouthwell.bsky.social alerted me to a thread* I saw this claim and I am baffled while I look at my 90% handmade closet (I don't do underwear and still have beloved RTW items). The irony of seeing this on the first day of Me Made May is not lost on me.

I bought yarn today. First time all year and for a project I've been planning for a while. Knitting for Olive doesn't do the poppy blue in their merino cotton so now I have to knit it in silk. Oh bother #Knitting
