From what I’ve heard from friends in the UK who were driven to go private, you’re really talked into undertaking a lot of pointless diagnostics

Insane to me that in Switzerland - no one’s idea of a progressive country - public infrastructure continues to be built and invested in, and things are not falling apart!

I wonder if it’s partly an over/underfamiliarity with the US - people seem to spend a lot of time following US politics but have potentially never actually met that many Americans?
