I was legit sad to see it didn't seem to be as hard as it looked slowed down, but I'm glad it seems that kid got away

11 communities in Indiana have already beat data centers, and Fort Wayne is gunning to be the 12th, but they still have a long fight ahead.

Next week I'm going to try to make it to jasper county, white county, and to New Carlisle because all three have community meetings.

Stay tuned, y'all.

Fort Wayne residents made it clear to IDEM that if they approve this permit that they will be proving to the community the hearing process is a sham.

They were told to go home and look in the mirror, contemplate if they want blood on their hands, and to remember that this was people asking nicely.

When you look at their documentation, an "emergency" is any time the grid doesn't supply enough power or there is an outtage, which sounds reasonable until you crunch numbers & realize the data center will use more power than the entire city of Fort Wayne so every day would be an "emergency".

I sure hope they listened to the (rightfully) angry community members who spoke.

They made it clear that Google is trying to build a diesel-powered electricity plant to power their data center without the proper permits by calling them "emergency" generators.

We wouldn't allow it otherwise.
