I would have to say that this seems to be the beginning of the "dude" ubiquity. However, it should be said that not everyone appreciates being bro'd. I came out at work so people would stop saying that to me.

Cis women of the world; How many times in your life have you been called bud? Or chief? While these are not necessarily gendered terms, they are almost only ever used by men towards men. Im sorry, you can say its nothing, but to a trans woman its something.
