couldnt even heal from my throat infection before getting my ear clogged and in so much pain, which now turned into an ear infection :)

i did go to a clinic to get it checked out and they prescribed me some meds, so i will live lol

I just locked in for the past 3 days and finished Reverie alongside all the daydreams (shows it was peak)

overall really enjoyed the game, though the story got too tacky at some points at the end. most of the daydreams were such a treat! (more Spoiler-ed thoughts in Alt) 🤭
The route system worked well for the game in my opinion! gave me just enough curiosity at each act's end for each route, so i believe all of them were written well enough! The part where the story starts to lose points is when they introduce Elysium, as i think it would've served it more to at least be introduced earlier, even if i personally didnt like the reveal (it was just alright). I'm really glad they made Ilya's redemption come from RIxia instead of Lloyd, and it was refreshing for lloyd's speeches to 'fail' with one of his friends. Rixia and Ilya's scene served as a better climax to that particular arc, since it's a parallel of what Ilya did for Rixia in the crossbell arc. The gang taking back Crossbell together and then having it all 'taken away' as a giant Destructive Canon­™ got revealed was a little bit bullshit, but it made for an impactful plot twist, so i dont mind it. As for the assault on the Distributive Tower, it was silly that Elysium couldnt predict Olivert coming to the rescue, especially if it was able to have information on ancient events that most people do not know. (surely it saw how Olivert pulled the ship stunt plenty of times in CS, no?) Final dungeon was great, and Ishmelga Rean served his purpose of establishing the consequences of the normal ending in CS4, while also finally putting a nice bow on Rean's development since CS1. Really great final boss sequence (plus the music was BANGING). Elysium's last prediction. It diminished what would've arguably been the best character send-off in the series. I loved Rufus' whole plan of making the tower self destruct while also saving everyone in the process (finally having meaning in his life that he searched for). Elysium didnt give anyone visions before, so it felt like a cheap way to bail out of the consequences for Rufus' actions. I still really adore the scene even though it could've been way better. Lapis ends up happy so i am too! Calvard daydreams were peak! Absolute Cinema

CS4 is done! it has a lot of things i like and dislike, but overall it's a good game!

why do you have to watch the normal ending before the true one tho 😭it felt unnecessary

being able to play with most characters in the final battle was such a treat (ofc i separated the teams in arcs lol)
