It doesn’t matter who, as long as it is not Porro. Byfield, Johnson, Kinsky, Frank etc. Winning this one game is far less important than keeping guys from overplaying

my next door neighbour! And Chris said it was a real shame that his relationship with Laura Marling didn’t work out, but Charlie’s wife Anna is absolutely lovely and beautiful and has a very impressive career and he has two kids now so don’t feel bad for him!!

Hi Will. I’m sitting in a pub in Clerkenwell London (pronounced Clarknwell) listening to your pod and suddenly Chris starts talking about Noah and the Whale’s “5 year’s time” and I finally have a claim to fame… the lead singer Charlie Fink is

Perhaps it is a standardised part of these huge loans I.e. we loaned the money to a certain company at a certain rate, but if that company sells out to someone else, we reserve the right to renegotiate the rates because it could be Saddam or Gaddafi or Boehly

91 clubs are desperately hoping the excessive spending drags Chelsea back down the leagues as they are forced to have a firesale
April 8, 2025 at 6:48 PM
Absolutely. Billy was on The Lab yesterday strongly implying that all profits are NOT spent on players. So where does Billy think the money is being siphoned off to, houses and hotels?

You’re only on camera from the waist up. Below the desk was a life size Eric Dier doll

Thanks for the pod chaps, I enjoyed it FWIW. I have a question for you to analyse, does Branthwaite of Everton have the skills we require (passing, receiving, thinking, guile) or is he just a big fast northerner?

Peter didn’t allow “his” wife to use painkillers? What an asshole

Spurs did freeze their prices for a few years when the stadium opened, which was stupid because they then had to do a larger rise e.g. 6% to catch up, rather than just doing 1 or 2% per year, which no right-minded fan could complain about

Thanks Hal, I really appreciate these snippets

Agreed, I used to spend 50% of my effort getting to and from work, now I can focus 100% on my job. My life is twice as good. I still do a great job. All my Teams calls are perfect, there is literally no downside

As long as Levy ploughs all profits back into the football side (Munn and Lange) then he can’t do a lot more (other than Qatar etc)
February 15, 2025 at 4:47 PM
It was funny when they said that Levy should step away from the football side and employ a couple of people to run that side and in the next breath they said they wanted Munn and Lange sacked! They have no clue of the hierarchy it seems

If you to an old stadium (or a bad new stadium like Reading FC) it is a strikingly bad experience in the concourse. Cramped, dank concrete, freezing, awful food and drink, still WAY overpriced. Rose tinted rear view glasses?

WTF that is a horrible thing to say, please take it back
February 7, 2025 at 1:15 AM
City “won” the transfer window, then Spurs, with nobody else coming close to us… then Villa but they lost Duran. And that’s it, nobody else did any business
February 5, 2025 at 6:11 PM
It how can we be on zero percent at the start of January, did you omit Kinsky (and Yang understandably) to leave us at zero?
February 4, 2025 at 9:04 PM
Did you omit Kinsky?
February 4, 2025 at 8:50 PM
Hi. Are those graphs comparing our ten games with others’ nine games?
January 28, 2025 at 2:05 PM
Yes, it is great Spurs have room to sign more players. We just need to ACTUALLY SIGN MORE PLAYERS! And Aston Villa must be in dire shape by now
January 27, 2025 at 10:17 AM
Nice chart, but please convert the decimals to percentages 😁
January 26, 2025 at 10:35 AM
Its a quadrant plot so you have to consider the diagonal line x=y to see the cumulative effect of both in and out of possession, whereby Spurs are first

We could have registered a player for PL and not put them on the EL list for the Group Stage. That has to be the future, if Ange is gonna run his players this hard
