Spent the day with my grandfather, going to see my best friends family with him, and watching him laugh and smile again. Today was a gift. I love that man. (Bonus pics of her old skrunkly #cat sitting on him)

The other day Turtle was very sad that I was leaving for work. She just wanted me to stay on the couch with her, sipping coffee and snuggling. 🥲

Saved my girl off the street at 4 wks old.. she greets me at the door, we have our bedtime routine, and she follows me from room to room. She’s my baby 💙

Turtle likes to close doors. She finds it endlessly entertaining to push and pull them closed, which is fine!
Except for the fact that closed doors fill her with rage. Life is hard for a cat with only two brain cells.

It is such an oversimplication to say I love my cat. She’s been by my side every night, and always is finding new ways to remind me to look for new perspectives. This is our routine of kitty cat bedtime, to fall asleep next to each other.. and I hope it never changes.

Pretty sure I have influenza. Influenza + asthma is NO JOKE. Thankfully I am doing okay so far and just focusing on getting nutrients and loooots of fluids.
Turtle is a great support as well.
