Hi! I remembered I used to have an online shop at Fine Art America. I re-enabled it and I have uploaded the aurora windmill image. It is now available on my shop here: fineartamerica.com/featured/win...

Yes I have an online shop in the Netherlands with a selection of my photographs. The company that produces and ships them does not ship to the US unfortunately. But I can look for a US-based company that does the same. My Dutch shop is at ronbuist.werkaandemuur.nl

I also have some aurora images without a windmill 😛

It’s very rare in the Netherlands and I do live in a place where light pollution isn’t that bad. This image was on October 11 last year, when the aurora was visible all the way to to the south of the Netherlands as well.

I do edit my images and this usually involves brightening up the darker parts.

I did. This went on for a couple of hours and I kept running around the house to get different angles.

Beautiful shots. I like the silhouetted trees.

There are a lot less nowadays, but there are still quite a few around and many of them are still in working order. There’s an online database that mentions 1260 existing windmills in the Netherlands and 18043 windmills that no longer exist. There are 91 windmills in the province where I live.

If you’re serious we could make that work. I’m assuming you’re in the US and I don’t have an online shop there yet but I’m willing to explore the options.

This is the scene right now. I know there are a lot of AI generated images out there but this is not one of them. The aurora did really happen and if you would like to see I can show you the unedited image. It’s photography and editing skills that made the aurora image…

Why does my post say “throng” instead of “through”? Don’t know but I’m blaming autocorrect… 🙂

I think in this image, Luca is already making the move from F4 to E5 (with the front right already in E5), but real chess players feel free to correct me 🙂
