My soapbox lately is that there are two ways we can approach homework assignments: 1) Get It Done mode, where the goal is to finish the task as fast as possible, and 2) Learning mode, where the goal is to understand the material at a deeper level. Some tasks/topics need more of that 2nd option

Regardless of what curveballs may be coming, we support young people, teaching kids to speak up and self-advocate. Executive function skills are essential for all learners, and we love collaborating with students, teachers, and families to try to make the world a better, more inclusive place.

As the world gets crazier and more stressful by the day, be gentle with yourself. Stress erodes our executive function skills, making planning, organizing, and problem-solving harder. Find your safe spaces for joy. Take some deep breaths. Meditate on gratitude. And then take action.
