buildinggeekNot the entire yard, but a big part of it. I walked most of it this morning trying to find a spot without critter tracks of some sort. I couldn't find a single area larger than say 5x5 feet that some critter hadn't put tracks on. That's in just over one week since it snowed. Mostly squirrels of course, but every thing from mice up to deer have contributed. buildinggeekJust a little brisk this morning. Mid teens and a touch of wind encourage movement. The clouds are moving right along. This one was heading to hide behind the tree. The snowplow pile looks like it could be made into a serviceable snow fort. I wonder if the neighbors would help me defend the street? buildinggeekHow do I love snow...Too many pictures, but it was hard to contain myself. Some deer came through last night. Probably the doe and her fawn that I've seen several times lately. Evergreens were made for snow pictures. Well, there may be other uses for them, but the day after a snowstorm thats my favorite. buildinggeekPerhaps snow on Tuesday? Yesterday we put up some burlap shields around the more exposed rhododendrons. Protecting the north and west sides reduces the winter damage. Although if it gets really cold nothing stops it.
