Trans is simply an adjective. A tall woman is suddenly not a woman. A short man is suddenly no longer a man.

Sex is determined by the SRY gene which can be on either X or Y chromosome. Even then, it doesn’t fully determine one’s observable sec characteristics. People who say women have ovaries immediately say women without them just aren’t women.

This statement includes all life that can be considered female/male. That means cats and trees can be considered men/women. This also extends to minors. Obviously a cat isn’t a man/woman, so the terms must be strictly and socially human.
