American by birth, Southern by God’s grace. Small L libertarian who believes less Government = more Freedom.
With the pushback and efforts by state, county, and city officials to impede ICE operations, they work in a hostile environment. Strange this happens only in blue states and sanctuary cities isn’t it? This isn’t a nationwide ICE problem so I question the intent of the allegations.

Greenland is part of Denmark although it is self governing. Its relationship is similar to that of the U.S virgin islands and America.

We’ll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Mineral rights was mentioned as well future negotiations on undisclosed items. As a bonus the Stock market went up. As I said, he brought them to the table.

When he was first elected in 2017 he was only worth $3.1 billion according to Forbes. That’s pretty successful in my book.

Thank you.

Taking Greenland was a bargaining chip. Business strategy, ask for whole pie when you only want 1/2. He moved them to the table didn’t he? He may not have gotten all he wanted but it wasn’t caving in. He’s a businessman in politics, not the reverse, and IMO, that’s why he’s successful.

Accepted. Yes, I believe in very limited government. Most laws and policies should be done locally, close to the populace. I don’t care about Trump but I support his actions. Remember he is a businessman, not a career politician. His power comes from that, not from his position as president.
January 21, 2026 at 9:50 PM
Trump doesn’t want Denmark, only Greenland and that was where my post was headed. IMO, it’s a bargaining chip and nothing else. He’ll take but will settle for less.
January 21, 2026 at 9:39 PM
My mistake. Trump only referred to Greenland, not Denmark in its entirety in his remarks about taking it over. I thought that was the direction the conversation was going. You assumed my gender and make accusations based on what I can only assume is your bias without proof. Tsk,tsk.

The “epidemic” didn’t last long enough to wind its way through the courts.

ICE isn’t indiscriminately grabbing people off the streets, they have deportation orders, expired visas, and criminal records to target illegals.
Why So Many Americans Reject Legal Due Process in the Age of Covid
This new turn toward obedience to expert-fueled executive power didn’t appear from nowhere. Society has long been moving toward a model of society in which

But what about due process? It’s required for illegals but optional for citizens? My civics class didn’t teach that. The deportations are a messy process that were caused by previous administrations and the fix isn’t fair to all but Americans benefit the most.
January 21, 2026 at 2:35 PM
How many civil rights were violated during the COVID crisis? Were you ok with the restrictions placed on the unvaccinated for the benefit of the majority? People lost their jobs, their housing, and denied service all without due process. Did this meet with your approval?
January 21, 2026 at 3:44 AM
Sadly nothing is 100%. Unfettered immigration affects everyone with drugs, disease, financial costs, and employment opportunities foisted upon all Americans. We have a gap in what is crucial for everyone vs the individual. An error in execution doesn’t make the mission a mistake.

Engaging in peaceful and unobtructive protest activity. That’s the pertinent clause.

PEW research center says the border was a sieve with ~14 million illegals as of 2023. It’s not the policy it’s the enforcement. The fraud is taxpayer money, yours and mine. I care about whose hand is in my pocket. The estimate is $9B in Minnesota alone. I wish I was rich enough to not be concerned.
January 17, 2026 at 3:09 AM
I disagree. Closing the southern border allowed resources to be used elsewhere. The fraud investigation in Minnesota made it a 2 for 1 situation.

Clinton & Obama both spoke about the importance of coming here legally and backed it with a lot of ICE deportations. Why the change?

Thanks, I’ll check it out. The unicorn and the bear support my argument that there is interference in the police operations. Mobs can be influenced by emotion very easily and police can be triggered by training and concern for their safety. Taunt the bull, expect the horns.

Where can I access these feeds? Any extended reporting I’ve seen either clips the prior action or shows protester aggravation before any retaliation from Ice
January 16, 2026 at 4:38 AM
What is not shown are the prior minutes leading up to reaction by the Ice agents. There’s no context. It’s video designed to push a narrative and drive hits and likes. The agents aren’t there to confront citizens, just those here illegally. Why wasn’t this a problem when Obamas agents deported them?
January 16, 2026 at 3:22 AM
Have you done any research? Almost all of the incidents you note are in response to people interfering with federal officials activities.

White replacement theory is KKK propaganda.
January 16, 2026 at 1:15 AM
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement reports ~445,000 deported had criminal records. How many of these people injured/killed would be unhurt had they not impeded the arrests.
