Revell 1/12 Gemini Astronaut completed, as Ed White. Replaced umbilical with 3/32" brass rod covered in gold confectioners foil for better support. Added details to capaule and made custom decals. #scalemodels 1/3

Revell 1/12 Gemini Astronaut with Gemini base from the 1/6 kit. I used sheet, strip, and rod styrene to detail the hatch interior and capsule features around the hatch opening. I corrected the window coming, added retro connection cover, and hatch hinge plates.

Revell 1/12 Gemini astronaut. The joints tend to form a ridge and gap in a few spots, so filing and filling is needed to smooth them out. Gemini from a 1/6 kit penciled for extra details. #scalemodels
