Consider a life form that starts as a folding rack to utilize space in the far back corners of a closet. The juvenile form would be a folding camp chair that distributes itself into the world via garage sales. The adult form is the sturdy table.

She seems to have a fondness for Oregon. I liked it a few years back when she was following the attack owl in the park in Salem:

We had a dog with a favorite toy that had to be replaced from time to time. Our trick was to get the old one wet and pop it into a bag with the new one. A couple of minutes in the microwave on low power was enough to transfer the smell so the new one would be accepted.

Years ago I did a stint as driver for my parents on a cross-country trip for their Fiftieth Anniversary. We stopped at many a Wendy's along the way.
A baker topped with bowl of chili for dinner looked like I was running cheap, but it was bliss.
Such a happy thread here.

And I appreciate the term "crash" (or collision) rather than the built in excuse in the word "accident".

Like the "fill in the blanks" of noting whether or not a bicyclist is wearing a helmet. While a factor in injuries, it's only role as a cause is if it was misadjusted and slipped over the eyes, or as a long ago contributor noted if the wind is thrumming through the straps and being distracting.

The little pump sticks down into a more or less open topped tank and is operated by a float switch. If you can identify the switch, try tapping the side of it a few times in case it is stuck. You can potentially bail out the tank - this buys you time as it will take a bit to refill.

Had a friend who did some kayaking in South America some years back. There were places he couldn't land because of the different factions controlling opposite sides of the river.

Do you have that gene where cilantro tastes like soap to you? 4-14% of the population.

Pull your copy of the Constitution out of your pocket like I did and check it yourself.
